Paolo Muratori company promotes its brands with eco-friendly fittings

The beauty and goodness of an environmentally sustainable natural cardboard display

Sana - International Exhibition of Organic and Natural Products

Viale della Fiera, 20 - Bologna

Our choices can define the fate of our planet, even those as small as opting for a sustainable cardboard display to promote ourselves at a trade fair. Investing in sustainable practices not only reduces environmental impact, but also costs in the long run, improving competitiveness. However, misguided environmental policies can stifle innovation and economic opportunities. It is imperative to join forces to balance economic growth and sustainability.

This is where the modern history of the Paolo Muratori company begins. Starting out as a wholesale purchasing centre for detergents, paper and cleaning equipment for central Italy, Polo Muratori is now undoubtedly a leader in the cleaning market worldwide. This was also possible thanks to the foresight of its founders who invested in a young chemical company with which they started producing professional detergents under the PM WASH brand name with great export success.

The new management company brings a breath of fresh energy and an innovative vision of the future that promotes a circular economy through the PM GREEN brand. The entire company travels on a very precise track of sustainability with a very specific goal, to lower the impact its business has on nature and the environment, from production to sales.

The company was present at Sana, the International Exhibition of Organic and Natural Products, which has just concluded its 2023 edition. The fair, the first in Europe to open its doors to the world of organic and natural products, was created with the intention of giving a voice to innovative and natural niche products, from food to cosmetics to the green lifestyle. Thanks to constant efforts to provide these companies with the best tools to promote themselves, today Sana has become a reference point for the sector, an eagerly awaited appointment to present new products and influence new market trends.

How to design a natural and functional space

Designing a natural and functional space to promote a company’s image at trade fairs is easier when you have guidelines and environmentally friendly and versatile materials such as cardboard. This is why the Paolo Muratori company chose to represent itself in such a competitive environment and remain true to its sustainable image with an eco-friendly cardboard display.

The Natur Design team of architects thought of the stand as a garden, a space immersed in a bucolic atmosphere that would convey the idea of being ‘immersed in nature’, that would reflect the commitment the company puts into the search for ingredients for the production of professional everyday products with a low environmental impact, that would emphasise the reuse of waste materials such as paper for packaging and many other gestures that raise the company’s ethical value.

We positioned two display walls supported by storage columns to delimit the stand area, which at the same time set the scene for the brand. The walls were entirely customised with high-definition digital prints, on one depicting a forest that lends depth to the ambience; on the other, references to the company philosophy with clear messages are clearly visible. In a corner, appropriately camouflaged, we have created a small room that serves as a service room.

Behind one of the walls, we strategically placed a large tree display of the Geriche line to house the products the company promotes. Also for exhibition purposes, we made a number of cubes of different sizes, again customised with ecological prints in harmony with the chosen theme, which give movement to the space without flattening it. Finally, we completed the set-up with a Losa L reception desk with a laminate top and printed logo on the front side and a series of various holders on the back. Some innovative and functional furniture designs create that warm, welcoming atmosphere. A high stool Soi Plus has been placed behind the reception desk as a comfortable seat for the operator, an Ortles table with a tempered glass top and natural lichen decoration coordinated withTaviela chairs with ecological cotton upholstery form a comfortable corner to welcome customers.

We consider this eco-sustainable set-up very fortunate, even in its simplicity, because it is kissed by natural light flooding the space from an all-glass wall of the fairgrounds, which further emphasises the importance of such an ethical, aesthetic and functional choice as that of a environmentally sustainable set-up in natural cardboard.
