GENERAL QUESTIONS

In spite of what you may believe, cardboard is a very solid and robust material. All furniture in the NaturDesign catalogue is made of high quality materials, which guarantees you the same strength and durability as traditional furniture. The answer is no. Surely we are not talking about steel, but we can assure you that cardboard has amazing qualities! Lightweight, yet durable, the high-quality triple-wave cardboard used for our furniture is resistant to loads and moisture. Our experience teaches us that, even if used in places of high use, they have a good durability. And if necessary, we can also make the surfaces water-repellent and/or fireproof. It depends on the usage you have to make of it. The basic version of our furniture is not fireproof and can suffer damage if placed in contact with open flames and / or high temperatures. However, the cardboard used has a high flash point (above 200 ° C) which greatly limits the risk of fire. However, if you have the stringent need to create a fireproof set-up (for example for a stand to be used in exhibition spaces) we can use a special cardboard certified “Class 1” by Italian legislation. Certainly, our furniture is ecological by nature: it lends itself to being reused countless times and “at the end of its life” is 100% recyclable. They are also made from 30% recycled materials and the cellulose comes from FSC certified sources.

Let’s say that it depends on many factors, but normally the timing for the realization “ex-novo” of a cardboard product is about 1-2 working weeks. For “tailor-made” or particularly complex products, the production time may vary. But each case is unique, so the advice is always to contact us to have a more precise timing.

PRODUCT CONCERNS

The scope of our furnishing solutions varies from product to product, also according to the shape and design. Consider, however, that normally a cardboard seat can support over 200 kg. So, as much as it is a lightweight material, it is also incredibly sturdy. It is no coincidence that we have built entire cardboard bookcases, loaded with hundreds and hundreds of books. You can be sure that cardboard furniture holds up great! 😉

Yes, almost all our cardboard products are assembled using simple joints, thus allowing their disassembly and subsequent reassembly. This makes them a flexible, lightweight and reusable solution, which is essential for some sectors such as homestaging or event organization.

Absolutely not, on the contrary! Cardboard furniture lends itself well to customization and “do-it-yourself” decorations. We suggest you use ecological colors maybe water, without exaggerating! 😉

Of course, the products are customizable by means of high-definition digital prints made directly on the cardboard. Our team will assist you in choosing and / or creating the most suitable graphics for you and your business.

The furniture can be finished with various materials we offer such as glass, cork, laminates, films, dibond and cushions, or it can be customised directly by you with the covering you prefer (just fix it with Velcro strips);

To meet specific requirements, it is also possible to add finishing feet that lift the structure off the ground or a water-repellent protective plastic coating that makes the surface easily washable with a damp cloth. The cardboard is made only using cellulose and natural starches. In the subsequent stages of processing or creation of the product we pay the utmost attention in the choice of ecological products with low environmental impact and low emission of harmful substances. We do not use glues that give off formaldehyde, but natural starches from potatoes, corn and peas. All furniture is therefore absolutely attentive to human health and the environment. The cardboard prints are also absolutely non-toxic.

Normally the timing for the realization of a tailor-made cardboard product varies from one to two working weeks. For particularly complex products, the production time may vary.

You can change your order at any time before confirmation. If you would like to change your order after receipt of the confirmation document contact us within 24 hours and we will verify the feasibility of your request.

From experience we guarantee that it is quite unlikely, but if it should happen that inside the kit there are damaged, defective or incorrect items you just have to contact us. The timing for receiving the refund depends on your bank, but indicatively it will be visible on your bank statement within 15 days of confirmation of the activation of the re-credit.

PAYMENTS

You can make the payment by bank transfer to the IBAN address that will be communicated to you or pay by credit card, PayPal or cashier’s check. We accept cash payments up to a maximum of 2999.99 euros (as per current legislation).

The shipping methods are agreed directly with our team and include express courier, non-express courier (specialized in the transport of furniture) or delivery by means of one of our transporters.

The package that will be delivered to you contains the instructions and all the information useful for the assembly of the furniture. Does all this scare you? Don’t worry, assembly is simple and requires minimal manual skills (you can still request the shipment of the mounted product with a small surcharge).

An on-site assembly service is provided only in the case of installations of a certain complexity. In all other cases you should not need it. Our furniture always travels in assembly kits, inside which you will find all the indications to assemble the product. Don’t have time to do the editing? We can ship the assembled furniture directly to your home.

Of course, we can ship the furniture already assembled to your home with a small surcharge.
