The temporary shops of leading brands take shape thanks to cardboard furniture

Convivio is the most important Italian charity exhibition and market and aims to raise funds for ANLAIDS (National Association for the fight against AIDS). All in favour of research and prevention and to continue to provide socio-medical assistance, psychological and professional support and to keep the alert on the problem of AIDS (which still infects an average of 4500-6000 people a year). This charity event, born in 1992 from an idea of Gianni Versace, is attended every year by many fashion, design and service companies donating products that are sold at 50% of the list price during the event. A wonderful initiative that has decided to focus on a green set-up: the stands where each company displays its products have been furnished with cardboard furniture.
What cardboard furniture was used for the temporary set-up?

Among the stars of the scene were the Tosa cubes, modular elements capable of creating compositions of various sizes and heights and perfect for displaying shoes, bags and clothing.
On the wall, Flua Plus cardboard bookcases were used, which are extremely capacious and easy to assemble. Each brand interpreted this element as it wished, filling it with fantasy or even colouring it.
Completing the range of furnishings for the event were Otro cardboard tables that were used to place bags, valuables or clothing, but also to socialise with customers, perhaps comfortably seated on a Soi stool.
What can we say… we are really proud to have made the set-up of this charity event more sustainable with our cardboard furniture and these photos prove that a stand can be green and cool!
