Polarmoss is a very special Finnish company and is a world leader in the production and sale of decorative moss, an innovative and eco-sustainable solution to create decorations with a modern, colorful and functional design. To promote its solutions in the US, Polarmoss decided to participate in two major trade fairs in New York and Chicago and turned to NaturDesign Cardboard Furniture to create a stand that would not go unnoticed
Polarmoss provided us with maps and measurements of the stands booked for the fairs in America and told us what their needs were, both on a communicative and functional level. We then developed a draft project with 3D rendering to give a concrete image to the cardboard stand that we would have made for them.
The Polarmoss stand was entirely made of fireproof white honeycomb cardboard, a solution able to guarantee adherence to the most stringent fire regulations, given that this material is certified as Class 1 to fire resistance. To define the area of the stand, cardboard partition walls were used to which moss grafts were integrated. Special low tables with special spaces to place the mosses are then created layers and also the counter to welcome the guests of the stand was finished with the company’s natural materials. Finally, cubic displays model Granati B and Stools model Soi Plus were used as a seat for customers.
