Cruelty-free fashion boutique in Rome meets cardboard furniture

Sonia Tucci’s dream was to open an eco-friendly boutique specializing in cruelty-free clothing, accessories, and footwear.

Her passion and commitment, after years of preparation, have found their home in the beautiful setting of Via della Stelletta, in the heart of Rome and within walking distance of the Pantheon, where the commercial space to be transformed into a true concept store has been identified.

The ideas behind the project were very clear: it was to be a reference point for all those customers interested in cruelty-free and animal-free fashion, a boutique founded on a focus on sustainability and the circular economy. With these assumptions, the layout Sonia wanted to create for her small store had to be consistent with her mission and ethical values. So she searched the Internet and found cardboard solutions and contacted us to ask if we could help her design something that was both environmentally friendly and highly innovative.

The spaces were not very large, but together with Sonia we made sure to optimize them, making the most of the walls thanks to Gelé paneling equipped with drawers, compartments and shelves. We then created customized coat racks and cardboard mannequins. And with the aim of making all corners of the venue more functional and engaging, we added various displays, most notably the cardboard tree placed prominently in the window.

We helped Sonia from the planning stage to the on-site setup…a true turnkey service.

Now Oye Impronte is a highly appreciated reality by a clientele aware of the importance of ethical and ecological fashion: each of us can do our part, and fashion is undoubtedly one of the polluting sectors where our choices have a concrete impact on the environment. This store sells Vegan, Animal-Free and Cruelty-free products because, as the lettering on the bags in the photo states, “There’s no planet-B.”
