Setting up of an eco-sustainable cultural center for SPAZIO RESISTENZE

The Spazio Resistenze was inaugurated in Bolzano at the end of 2016 and was established as the regional operational centre of the ‘Platform of Resistance’, but above all, it aims to be a cultural stronghold for the citizens of the Europa-Novacella district and beyond. A place able to host meetings, reading activities and projects for adults, children and families.

The set-up of the cultural space was entirely made of cardboard with a mix of standard furniture and customised solutions: for the event area we proposed ecological stools from the Soi line, printed with customised graphics. It is a striking and agile solution, as the seats are sturdy, but also light and easy to move to create different stalls from time to time. Accompanying the stools are Cian R cardboard tables and Golliaz Coffee low tables. In the meeting room, on the other hand, there is a Flua Plus cardboard bookcase, another wall-mounted Sea model and a Lys V desk with a glass shelf. Finally, a great deal of tailor-made work was done to create cardboard equipped walls that would act both as a decorative element and as a functional element capable of exhibiting books, photos and other material.
