Promoting the brand with a customised cardboard display

For Don Josè Alimentaria, we created a customised cardboard display to promote the Vicenza-based brand’s business in a creative and functional way.

The company’s core business is the artisanal production and sale of food products of Mexican origin such as tortillas, totopos and nachos. Their production philosophy is essentially based on respecting the naturalness of the product and to do this they use very few ingredients and very few natural preservatives in order to obtain a product with an unmistakable taste with the added value of genuineness. From variants that preserve the original flavour to spicy ones, the company offers a wide range of products to suit all palates. Don José also imports niche products directly from Mexico such as sauces, chillies and spices.

The decision to make displays that recalled the Mexican soul and were easily recognisable and traceable to it was as natural a consequence as their production.

We chose the cactus because it is an unmistakable symbol that immediately brings you back to that part of the world, and so we designed small customised cardboard counter displays precisely in the shape of a potted cactus that are useful for displaying merchandise at points of sale in an original and immediate way.

The base of the display represents a vase divided into compartments with shelves of increasing size, from the smallest at the base to the largest at the top. The cactus blades are also joined by shelves for display with a small petal protruding on which the company logo has been printed. The display was customised with the company’s bright colours and realistic cactus prints.
