Creating a cardboard exhibition booth that combines functionality, aesthetics and visual communication is one of the most interesting challenges in the world of events today. For its participation in Host in Milan, Lunipaper – a company specialising in sustainable packaging and the production of cardboard placemats and dish holders – chose to rely on NaturDesign for an elegant, customised and eco-friendly cardboard exhibition stand design.
The goal was to create a space consistent with the brand’s values: sustainability, visual lightness and a strong communicative impact. To achieve this, our designers came up with a balanced mix of linear and rounded shapes, giving the stand a soft and welcoming feel while maintaining an orderly and functional structure.
The heart of the installation was the entrance: one corner of the stand was completely transformed into a curved line, creating a fluid and harmonious reception area. The semi-circular counter from the Losa line was topped by a second matching semi-circular element, supported by two cardboard columns that emphasised the verticality of the space. On either side of the reception area were two portal-like openings, inviting the public to enter and discover the Lunipaper collection.
Inside, the walls have been fitted with cardboard display shelves and spaces dedicated to product presentation. All elements have been customised with the brand’s official graphics, transforming every surface into an immediate and recognisable visual communication tool. The choice of cardboard did not limit creativity: on the contrary, it allowed for total decoration and effective colour consistency.
The stand was completed with interior furnishings made from recyclable and reusable cardboard, creating a light, tidy environment that was perfectly in line with the company’s green philosophy.
This project demonstrates how cardboard exhibition stands can become not only sustainable solutions, but also effective branding tools capable of attracting visitors’ attention. Cardboard stand designs combine aesthetics, durability and communication, resulting in functional, eco-friendly and highly customisable structures.
